Tentech Co., Ltd. launches polynucleotide (PN) ingredient ‘Regevan Healer’
Tentech (CEO Han Dong Ok) announced that it has launched 'Regevan Healer', the second polynucleotide-based biomaterial for tissue repair in Korea.
The purpose of use is the improvement of fine wrinkles around the crow's feet area. Regevan PN is a disposable sterilized medical product packaged in two 1ml syringe types per box. And its recognized by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.
In a confirmatory clinical trial involving 250 people conducted at Wonju Severance Christian Hospital and Ajou University Hospital, it was recognized as non-inferior to the control device.
Polynucleotide is a DNA component extracted from the testes of salmon or trout. The one with a large molecular weight is called PN, and the one with a small molecular weight is called PDRN. PN is mainly used as medical devices, and PDRN is mainly used as a raw material for cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.
The polynucleotide market in Korea continues to grow, and overseas markets are also gradually growing.
A Tentech official said, “We are starting full-scale marketing to increase our domestic market share to 30%.”
