What is acne scar?

It occurs in severely inflamed areas or skin tissue damaged by secondary infection, and the skin condition is not as smooth as the surrounding normal skin.



What causes acne scars?

If you take care of your acne incorrectly, such as carelessly squeezing the pimple with your hands, or if the pimple festers badly and bursts, the normal skin tissue around the pimple will be damaged and acne scars will remain.


Also, if the skin around the acne is damaged because the pressure is too strong when extruding the acne, or if the skin is damaged due to severe inflammation of the acne, pitted scars may occur. Once these acne scars form, they do not go away easily and require dermatological treatment.
