Tentech receives TFDA approval for high-frequency medical device ‘10THERMA’

Tentech (CEO Han Dong-Ok) announced on the 4th that it had obtained certification for its high-frequency medical device '10THERMA' from Taiwan's Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) on the 29th of last month.

According to Tentech, 10THERMA was first introduced in Korea in October 2020. After just one year of launch, sales exceeded 500 units. It implements a maximum output of 400w, and the tip size is 5cm², which increases the treatment area by 25% compared to other similar equipment.

An official from Tentech explained, “10THERMA brought a fresh wind to the non-invasive high-frequency medical device market,” adding, “In particular, it attracted a lot of attention from the beginning of its launch as it was able to deliver more energy.”

Tentech will begin targeting the Taiwanese market in earnest after obtaining certification from Taiwan's TFDA. 10THERMA will be introduced for the first time in Taiwan by attending 'The 49th Annual Meeting of Taiwanese Dermatological Association' held at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center in Taiwan from the 8th to the 10th. Professor Eunsoo Park of Soonchunhyang University will give a lecture on 10THERMA at this event.

A company official said, "10THERMA is preparing to expand its global market share in addition to obtaining Taiwan's TFDA certification," and added, "We have signed a contract with a Taiwanese agency and plan to export 100 units this month alone." He added, “Tentech planned to export to a number of countries, including the United States and Brazil, starting next year.”
