Medical device company Tentech (CEO Han Dong-ok) announced on the 10th that the cumulative sales of its high-frequency (RF) medical device ‘10THERMA’ reached 600 units on the 9th. This is an achievement that attracts attention because it has been one year and two months since 10THERMA was first launched in October 2022.
10THERMA, a monopolar 400W RF device, is a device that regenerates collagen by applying heat to the skin. 10THERMA's 'Face Tip' consists of 5㎠ and induces 20% more collagen production during the procedure. For other companies’ equipment, the face tip is 4㎠. In addition, impedance matching technology is applied to 10THERMA, which can deliver targeted energy by adjusting the energy resistance value according to the individual.
In particular, the advantage of 10THERMA is that it is a non-invasive lifting device, so the procedure time is short and there is almost no pain. The company explains that 10THERMA is showing a high penetration rate in the RF equipment market as its brand awareness and customer trust builds.
Meanwhile, Tentech received 510(k) approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on the 21st of last month based on the safety and effectiveness of 10THERMA (US approved name '10THERMA') equipment. 10THERMA is scheduled to be officially launched through launching events in major countries such as the United States and Southeast Asia in the first half of this year.
