Solutions: 

- BHA (beta hydroxy acid) chemical peels are a type of chemical peel that uses salicylic acid as the active ingredient. Salicylic acid is a type of BHA that is commonly used in skincare products for its exfoliating and acne-fighting properties. BHA chemical peels work by penetrating the pores and exfoliating the dead skin cells and excess oil that can contribute to acne and clogged pores.

- PDT (photodynamic therapy) is a treatment that uses a combination of a photosensitizing agent and light to target and destroy acne-causing bacteria on the skin. In the case of acne treatment, a photosensitizing agent such as aminolevulinic acid (ALA) or methyl aminolevulinate (MAL) is applied to the skin and allowed to penetrate the pores. Once absorbed, the skin is exposed to a specific wavelength of light, activating the photosensitizer and creating a reaction that selectively destroys the bacteria associated with acne.
