Tentech sells 120 units of RF medical device ‘10THERMA’ in Taiwan in the first half of the year. Expected to sell 250 units per year.
[The Bio Reporter Kang In-hyo] Medical device manufacturer Tentech announced on the 9th that it sold 120 units of its high-frequency (RF) medical device ‘10THERMA’ in Taiwan in the first half of this year.
Tentech unveiled 10THERMA for the first time at the 49th Taiwan Dermatological Association (TDA) general meeting in December last year. Currently, we are actively carrying out the ‘Effect is 10THERMA’ marketing campaign with actress Clara <pictured>, who is the Taiwan 10THERMA brand ambassador. As a result of these marketing efforts, more than 100 units of 10THERMA have been exported to Taiwan.
10THERMA is a medical device that transmits high-frequency energy of 6.78 MHz and generates heat through the electrical resistance of the skin. ‘Monopolar’ 10THERMA can produce a maximum output of up to 400W, and can coagulate skin tissue anew by delivering high frequency heat to a wide area of the dermis using a single electrode.
The special advantage of 10THERMA is that it has a 5㎠ face tip, which is 25% wider than the face tip area (4㎠) of other high-frequency equipment, so it can deliver more heat energy per shot. Additionally, through the ‘S.T.C (Smart Temperature Cooling)’ mechanism, 7 cooling pulses are emitted per irradiation, making the procedure safe.
This effectiveness and safety have been proven not only in Korea but also in various countries, including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) certification and Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) certification. Tentech expects a total of 250 10THERMA (cumulative basis) to be sold in Taiwan by the end of the year.
Han Dong-ok, CEO of Tentech, said, “The expected sales of 250 units in Taiwan this year is a result of proving 10THERMA’s outstanding technology and effectiveness,” and added, “We will continue to strengthen our position in the global market through innovative products and excellent services.”
Meanwhile, in addition to Taiwan, Tentech has signed exclusive contracts with several countries including the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Brazil, Thailand, the Philippines, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), expanding its presence in the global market.
